Four-year-old Grayson Doherty looks like an ordinary boy who goes to kindergarten. However, there is something that distinguishes him from his peers. Over the past year and a half, Doherty has read more than 1,000 books, and on Friday the city library awarded him a certificate of achievement.
According to the boy's mother, Amanda Doherty, her son first began choosing books to read when he was only 2 years old, and has since read over 500 titles, rereading his favorites several times.
